We act as a safe house to homeless, pregnant women who come from extremely diversified walks of life. Due to the nature of our work, we have designed ‘Intern Positions’ for people who are passionate about serving a vulnerable population.
Our summer internship program is tailored to students who are registered to attend post-secondary in the fall. In the last year Emma House has expanded and created more room for creatively reaching out to the people of Calgary in order to see healthy mothers in community.
At the end of your internship with Emma House, you will have grown in leadership, become more responsible, have impacted the lives of countless individuals, and have used your gifts to raise awareness and positively affect vulnerable people groups in Calgary.
All interns are expected to: have a High School diploma, be a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, be an attendee of a local Church, and understand, as well as commit to the vision of: ‘Healthy Mothers Living in Community.’
